You can but to be able to pause/rewind telly you need an extra cable from the dish to the receiver
Yes it will work, but sky+ is a contract based system so you will need to make sure you are paying a subscription to record anything on the box. If the dish only has a single cable running from it and you wish to record one station and watch a different one at the same time you will need a second cable run. You may also have to replace the LNB (Bit on front of dish) for a quad (One with 4 outputs to connect the 2nd cable to).
